Allflex USA IN Safety Ear Tag Removal Tool – Safe, Quick Ear Tag Removal

Overview

In livestock management, a reliable tool can make tag removal faster and safer. The Allflex USA IN Safety Ear Tag Removal Tool is a purpose-built knife designed for the quick and easy removal of ear tags. Its well-balanced form and hook blade guide the cut between the tag base and the ear, helping to reduce resistance and keep handling smooth.

The design emphasizes control: a V-shaped cutting edge works to minimize the chance of snagging and accidental nicks, supporting a safer experience for both the handler and the animal. An economical price point means this tool is a practical addition to any tagging kit, ready for routine maintenance or seasonal changes without breaking the budget.

Key benefits

• Specially designed knife for fast and safe ear tag removal; the V-shaped cutting edge helps prevent injuries to producer and animal.
• Economical price makes it a tool you’ll want to keep on hand for routine tag changes.
• Safe operation for both user and animal as ear tags are removed with controlled contact.
• The hook blade design slides easily between the base of the tag and the ear, easing the process and reducing risk of snagging.
• Useful for removing old ID tags or insecticide tags at the end of the season, helping keep records tidy.

How it works

The knife is designed to be easy to grip and precise in action. Position the hook blade at the base of the tag, apply steady pressure, and lift along the ear to expose a clean cut. The V-shaped edge guides the blade for a controlled, low-force removal.
