POLYNEW Manuka Honey Calcium Alginate Dressing 12 Pack 2x2 inch Wound Patches

Overview

POLYNEW Manuka Honey Calcium Alginate Dressing combines a natural calcium alginate scaffold with Manuka honey sourced from New Zealand. This pairing is designed to work with wounds that produce moderate to high amounts of exudate, helping maintain a moist surface while supporting straightforward dressing changes in clinical or home settings.

Key features at a glance

• High absorption capacity: the seaweed derived alginate can absorb wound exudate more than ten times its weight, helping to manage moisture at the wound site.
• Gel forming action: contact with wound fluid forms a soft gel, creating a protective, cushioned layer that keeps the surface from sticking to the wound during removal.
• Non-adherent removal: designed to minimize trauma to the wound bed and surrounding skin, easing dressing changes.
• Versatile use: intended for wounds with moderate to high exudate, including pressure injuries, diabetic ulcers, postoperative wounds, and abrasions.
• Hygienic packaging: 12 individually wrapped patches in a box, produced in a clean room to help maintain cleanliness and consistency.
